There is a spot near the rear of the fairgrounds in Ballston Spa that usually provide the best photos of the day with the sun being at a perfect location to the rear of the camera along with a steady stream of trucks heading to the show field.
But you know me, I don’t stay in one spot too long at a truck show. I usually abandon this sweet spot at the first break in the action to take in the sights of the unloading area.
This Chevy C/60 made two runs throughout the day. On the first trip it brought in an International 1466 tractor, quickly unloaded, and then returned with a Michigan 55A wheel loader.
Below, a Brockway U360 with 12V71 Detroit Diesel. These seem to be a very popular truck among the truck show crowd recently.
More to come!
I have to make it back to NY sometime for this show. Those fairgrounds were my playground when I was growing up. Lived across the street. Were there any local fire trucks at the show?

Yes you do! I think I have one or two shots.
