I found myself to in the position to due some unexpected truck spotting last Saturday but was without my usual camera. I figured that vivid recounts of the trucks I saw still wouldn’t be as good as low quality cell phone images so my Windows Dumb Phone was called off the bench. With the help of some bright spring sun the results were surprisingly good.
Up first was this photo op of the current International Trucks lineup with an 9900i, LoneStar and Durastar.
Down the street in a hotel parking lot this F-750 auger truck Henkles & McCoy made a statement.
Also in the same parking was this massive Peterbilt moving truck for Atlas Van Lines.
And across town this old International S-1900 is still working as a yard spotter for DTS Truck Repair. Past work history for this truck include local manufacturer Crouse-Hinds as seen by the symbol on the door. Love the tire chains.
In the gallery below is another truck from the trip plus another shot of the old Crouse-Hinds truck and Ford from the same time period and company.
