Trucks of the Quarry

I happened upon this speciality truck earlier this summer and just had to turn around to grab a photo of it. I’m not sure of the make but a CCC (Crane Carrier) is probably a good guess. The name on the side was familiar to me as one part of local well drilling company Barber & DeLine. It wasn’t until I reviewed the photo that I realized this truck belongs to a different company that drills holes not for drinking water but for blasting apart quarry walls.

Another truck from earlier in the summer is this International boom truck belonging to Geneva Curbing and Concrete Co. From this picture you can see workers in the process of unloading new granite curbs. I’m not sure exactly what took place but moments after unloading a curb the crew reloaded the same piece and left the construction site. Wrong address maybe?
