I’m always on the look out for interesting trucks not matter the age or condition. My route home from the ATHS Hudson Mohawk show in Ballston Spa brings me right by a few locations that always seem to more than a few trucks that fit the bill.
A truck stop along State Route 67 had two vintage IHC trucks that would have been right at home at any show. As I passed by this very original and very solid KB-6 I fully expected to see it later in the day at the fairgrounds.
Right behind the KB was an equally nice Loadstar 1890 dump truck. I love finding wonderful survivor trucks like these two Internationals.
One other vehicle of note was this International PayStar5000. It was parked by one of the large and ominous looking abandoned textile mills that dot the city of Amsterdam, NY. Plenty of diamond plate on this one.
Funny how they all happened to be Internationals but that is how the cookie crumbles. 😉
I have an 1890 loadstar 18′ ramp truck excellent shape looking for a home as I don’t use it so much anymore! You interested?
