2013 ATHS Hudson Mohawk – The Pictures

The ATHS Hudson Mohawk chapter classic truck show in Ballston Spa, NY is typically my last major truck show of the season. Thankfully this show always provides an exceptional field of trucks to close out the year with a bang.

I enjoyed the look of the is 1947 Sterling and it’s chain drive which never fails to impress. A few shots of starter fluid were necessary to get this old rig up and running but once it roared to life it never stopped. Video to follow tomorrow.

The impressive Tackaberry collection from Athens, Ontario usually pulls into the show with half a dozen or more trucks. This year was no exception. The yellow H model Mack seen below has a wonderful air start. It’s a sound to behold.

Of course there were many Brockways on hand. This particular 361 was new to me and just might be new to you.

And what classic truck show would be complete without Autocars?

Below is a gallery of around a quarter of the trucks that were on hand for Saturday’s portion of the show. Tomorrow will bring us a closer look at 1971 Walters with 28 foot plow plus video, video, video. I’ve been saying this for a few years now but if you are able to attend this show and for some reason you don’t well, shame on you.

As the days go on I’ll update the gallery with correct years/make/model when possible. Enjoy!
