Lost and Found – Brockway Trucks

It’s been awhile since I’ve had a Brockway on this site that wasn’t at a truck show. Thankfully Andy has stepped up with not one truck but two! Below we have a ’74 Brockway powered by a Detroit 238. I’m not sure on the exact model so I’m hoping the more devoted Brockway fans can help out. I’m guessing it’s a 361.

The next Brockway is a definitely a 361. Andy believes it may have been a NYS DOT truck from back in the day. The large faded circle on the door certainly speaks to a government shield that was peeled off years ago.

A large winch resides behind the cab and I believe I can see steel fenders over the rear wheels.

I can’t tell if there is a fifth wheel out back or not. Andy found this truck near Clyde, NY but the exact location has been forgotten. Sounds like a good reason to search the streets of Clyde!

Nice shots Andy and Eric! The first Brockway model would be a E361LL if it has a Detroit 6-71.

  2. Clarence Ritchie says:

Strange front fenders on the blue one also. And yes to New York truck, the door stickers and winch.

  3. Jeff Shaw says:

Clarence that brown one I’ve looked at in boonville, saw them both on facebook.

  4. Andy says:

The brown one was in Boonville, it now sits down near Oriskany Falls.
