The economy may still be in the dumper but truck sales appear to be climbing out. For the month of August class 8 trucks sales increased by 70% over the year prior. Sales reached their highest level since March 2007. The month to month winners for truck sales are Freightliner and International with a combined 7,888 trucks sold.
