A Moment of Silence Please…

Regular Daily Diesel Dose visitor Steve sends us this great photo of an old International Loadstar. Sadly, he was tasked with hauling this solid looking truck to the scrap yard. According to Steve this truck spent the second half of its life working for a county school board pushing disabled buses into the shop.

    I would guess middle 1970’s and certainly an ex-military truck, probably the Air Force dressed in that blue. Looks like a Loadstar F-1850 with diesel power. Depending on the year it could have the International DV-550B or the first generation DT-466 under the hood.
