Some works of art are inspired by religion. Others by women. Still others by trucks. This is one of those stories. Hayes stumbled upon this old Diamond T in a field between Kenosha and Racine Wisconsin years ago. He liked the truck so much he started an oil painting of the subject. For one reason or another the painting was never finished and the truck disappeared.
Even in an unfinished state the painting looks good to me. This is the type of stuff we should see in museums and art galleries.
